I can’t believe my boyfriend finally asked! I am now engaged!

It was sort of funny the way that he did it though. We exchanged anniversary gifts at the restaurant we were at…which is what we normally do, but he made sure I opened the card first. The card ended with something like “What better reason to ask someone to spend the rest of their life with you.” I looked at him and said “I love you honey, but you aren’t going to let the card do all the work are you (and I smiled silly at him)?” Then he says, “Well, umm, I love you a lot, and ummm, we have been together for two years now, and umm, I would love to spend the rest of my life with you, so _____ _____ _______ (my name lol), will you marry me?” It’s goofy, but so us.

I am so happy to be engaged now…now to start with the wedding planning!

My brother just got engaged to his girlfriend! This is a picture of her ring and their engagement story. I’m so happy for them. :)
